A documentary about Indian nurses in Germany

Brown Angels explores the history of Indian nurses who immigrated to Germany in the late 1960s and early1970s. Then about 5000 young Indian women came to Germany work here. They had to deal with their new environment in a completely different culture. This process of integration is described and analyzed from a German as well as an Indian perspective, showing us the “Brown Angels” in their nowadays lives.
